The Last Thursdays with Anil Sarda

Every Last Thursday of Gregorian month, Bikalpa an Alternative jointly organize the “Last Thursday’s” event at Biratnagar in coordination with Hotel Namaskar, E4N and Makalu Television. Objective of the program is to disseminate the ideas and knowledge about entrepreneurship through the sharing of successful entrepreneurs. Also the program creates an opportunity to do networking and share ideas. On the episode of February,  Entrepreneur Mr. Anil Sarda, Executive Director, of Pioneer Rubber Factory, was invited as a guest speaker at the program. Program was started at 3:30. Basanta Adhikari, Director of Bikalpa and Alternative moderated the program welcoming the participants and guest speaker. Rima Shrestha, Director of Hotel Namaskar, shared the objective of the program. She also shared about her upcoming event Kids Feasta.  After her pitch, guest speaker Mr. Anil Sarda share his personal story on the journey of his  entrepreneurship. During his speech he highlighted that taking risk, caring customers, identifying the needs of the market, managing time are essential elements to be a good entrepreneur. He also said that it is the role of the state to create the environment to flourish the entrepreneurship and business.   After the guest speaker speech, participants had a open discussion with the speaker for an hour  where Mr. Sarda clarifies the participant’s queries. Guest speaker Mr. Sarda gave the prize to the winner of the quiz asked during the program.  Rima Shrestha, Director of Hotel Namaskar, handover the token of love to the guest speaker. Program was formally ended at 5:30 heading for tea and informal networking. The program was organized at the venue of Hotel Namaskar, Biratnagar. Total 101 numbers of participants took part in the program.
